QAOU Multifunction Two-Person Tent

This Qaou tent is designed to adapt to your surroundings, able to transform into a hammock, tarp or beach shelter. Wherever you go, it will adapt accordingly.Innovative and versatile, having a Qaou with you means you’re always equipped, just in case.

Pitching/folding

Very easy to pitch fibreglass arch structure that makes up the igloo-shaped bedroom. The flysheet fabric is made with the hammock and fits easily with 4 clips. The hammock and tarp are easily set up. Qaou’s modularity is quickly grasped and the transition from one configuration to another is easy.

Ventilation

Flysheet with low peripheral ventilation. Two triangular spacers to increase the passage of air if necessary. A liner tent with a large area of mosquito net. Two side doors with double mosquito nets and the option of a mini-porch.

Sun protection

Ripstop 210 T fabric has a UPF of 30+. It can be doubled over according to the configurations for better sun protection. Please note: a large quantity of UV can enter through an open door. Protect your skin with sun cream.

Waterproofing

Qaou tents are validated by a demanding field test; whole tent under automatic sprinkling (about 3500 L/hr) for 12 hours. (2000mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 210 T PU 4000 polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed with thermo-bonded tape). The presence of a breathable polyester bedroom with mosquito net under the flysheet helps avoid contact with drops of condensation that can be deposited on the inside of the flysheet.

Modularity and adaptability

The tent is very easily converted into 1 hammock or 1 beach shelter. Qaou tents connect to each other infinitely to create bigger spaces.

Manufacturing quality

The products that make up the Qaou have been selected to the most exacting standards: ZIP by SBS, polyamide Ripstop for the hammock and flysheet, fibreglass poles, plastic tension adjustment hook by YNS.

Warranty / After-sales service

All the tents sold by Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years in normal use (your loyalty card or receipt provides proof of purchase). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
